We are living through the worst border crisis in U.S. history. We have set records for illegal border crossings in each of President Biden’s first two years in office, and we are on track to an illegal border-crossing record again this year.

It’s simple:

No country can remain sovereign without secure borders. 

A country that cannot control its borders cannot control its destiny. I believe the United States has the right and the obligation to create an immigration policy that can be enforced. We cannot allow our mainland to be a sanctuary for illegal criminals who threaten public safety.

Throughout our history, immigration has helped fuel our economic engine and make us a vibrant, more prosperous country. But we, and we alone, should decide who enters the United States and who does not.
