Curb Inflation and Protect

Our Purchasing Power

The U.S. economy under President Biden has seen the highest levels of inflation since Jimmy Carter’s administration in the late 1970s.

Government spending combined with global supply chain disruptions are causing the cost of food and everyday necessities to rise to unsustainable levels for most New York families.

Making matters worse, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia contributes to higher costs for commodities, meaning prices will keep rising as long as the war rages on. If we prioritize peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, we can foster greater economic stability, strengthen our economic resilience, and create a more secure and prosperous future for all.

At the same time, we must address the core spending issues that have led to our current economic challenges and implement measures to protect the purchasing power of average Americans.
