NY-3: LIPETRI MUST COME CLEAN ABOUT ‘NIGERIAN-PRINCE’ CRYPTOCURRENCY SCHEME HE PLOTTED WITH DISGRACED FORMER CONGRESSMAN GEORGE SANTOS: HACH

(NOT an April Fools Joke)

New York-Apr. 1…Liberal lobbyist Mike LiPetri, who’s seeking the Republican nomination in New York’s 3rd Congressional District, needs to explain to the public — in detail — exactly what he and disgraced former Congressman George Santos were up to with their failed ‘Nigerian-Prince’ cryptocurrency scheme, the campaign of conservative-Republican reform candidate Greg Hach today demanded.

Mr. Santos has already been charged with at least 13 felonies for various money-making scams. LiPetri, a former Democrat, anti-Trumper, and aide to former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, has heretofore refused to explain his role in the ‘Nigerian-Prince’ scandal, instead allowing his attorney to speak on his behalf.  Even more problematic is that the third individual alleged to be part of LiPetri’s scheme with Santos, Dominick Satorio of Bryant Park Associates, is a donor to LiPetri’s federal congressional campaign committee.

“Mike LiPetri needs to come clean about what he and George Santos were up to with this so-called Nigerian-Prince scam,” said Hach spokesman Bill O’Reilly. “We challenge him to hold a news conference, with no time or question limits, where he can lay out the details of his partnership with Mr. Santos to members of the news media. After NY-3 voters were blindsided by Santos’s seemingly endless lies and scandals following the 2022 elections, they deserve to know if his business partner is corrupt, too.”

Mr. Santos was expelled from Congress for his history of deceit four months ago. Mr. LiPetri is now running for the very same seat.
