“President Trump did far more to stop New York’s congestion pricing tax than liberal lobbyist Mike LiPetri did in his two years in the State Assembly. Mr. LiPetri, who has never supported President Trump, paid lip service to congestion pricing opponents, but, in the end, did nothing. His cover-your-butt, paper-tiger bill in Albany went nowhere.
“I fully support President Trump — while LiPetri never has — and I’m fully confident that President Trump will step in to stop this regressive, big-brother tax on New York drivers after he is reelected this year. I will fight hand-in-hand with him in those efforts, if I’m privileged enough to be elected in November. We need action from our members of Congress, not empty LiPetri talk and promises.”
